Hey guys, 

As you may already know the NC announced the following after an emergency session of the Camarilla Council: 

For a 3 month period of time, we will double the awardable amount of prestige, from the national office, to be used to the direct relief of those members of the Camarilla who are currently suffering through this horrific disaster *ONLY*. That this begin effective May 1, 2011, and run through July 31, 2011. 

However until a direct account can be made by the NC for these purposes we will be running a concurrent charity to support the Tornado relief efforts in Alabama. Because this new charity will allow for double the normal charity cap (the prestige cap will be placed at 60 instead of 30) we needed time to discuss how to effectively roll this out, so thank you for your patience. 

The Tornado Relief charity, like the Japan Relief, will be set at $2 = 1 national prestige. However the charity will be cut into sections which will be individually capped at 20 national prestige each, but you can max out in each one to obtain the full 60. Please see the below break down for further clarification as to how the Tornado Relief charity will work, but also please don't forget the Japan Relief charity is still on going and both charities can be participated in for prestige. 

Tornado Relief 
(Overall Cap: 60) 
(May, June, July) 

Monetary Donation (Capped at 20)

-You must donate to "Help Alabama" 
-We will only count donations made thru Help the Children. 
-You must send me a direct copy of your receipt of purchase; I will not accept any other verifications, I must have your receipt (us.anc.charity@gmail.com) 

Item Donation (Capped at 20) 
-Find a center that is putting together care packages, and donate items for that cause 
-This will take some leg work from you the member as I don't want to limit your options and there are tons of centers doing this right now 
-2 Items = 1 National Prestige 
-Please email me directly; or have your ADC Charities, DC or even RC send me a note verifying your donation. (us.anc.charity@gmail.com) 

Time Donation (Capped at 20) 
-Find a center that is putting together care packages, and donate items for that cause

-1 Hour = 5 National Prestige

Note! If you donate to a regional or local charity which is also supporting Japan you contribution cannot be counted twice. You can't donate once and then receive National and Regional prestige for the one donation)
